This is my first ever self-portrait in my whole lifetime of creating art. Mainly due to never feeling beautiful, worthy enough to be captured in paint. So many feel the same and it is a shame as I know so many "beautiful" people who are ugly inside. I would much rather have a beautiful soul and heart than a beautiful outside. You can always tell a beautiful soul from their eyes.

This is for all those people who have the kindest hearts and yet still fail to see that they are beautiful on the outside. 

It comes from within.
